Students Support United Way
For two weeks prior to homecoming, Hirschi students donated money to their teachers in order to crown a Faculty Homecoming King & Queen. This fundraiser was for a very worthy cause, with 100% of the proceeds going to United Way. The fundraiser was organized by Hirschi's United Way Youth Council. This student-led organization will be doing numerous fundraisers throughout the fall. The money collected from this particular activity came to a grand total of $721.88 ! ! ! The faculty Homecoming King and Queen for 2006 are : Mr. Trevor Wildman and Mrs. Lana Borgman.
